Nothing new to report really. I was offered a new position at work...
I'm now a writer for Public Sector cases...the huge multi-million dollar cases. Out of 30+ writers in three locations, I was one of the 8 chosen, and we were all nominated by the Project Managers in the PS department. I'm flattered, but man oh MAN is it a whole lot more responsibility and work! I haven't left the office before 7pm in over a month!
Other than the job, nothing much else is going on. I've been working on the house and hanging with the kid...that's about it. I'm not even dating right now, and I can't say I miss it. Mind you, it's not that I haven't had offers -- and there is ONE guy that is picquing my interest, but we'll have to see where things go. Right now, we're having a hard time getting our schedules to match. Oh well, if it's supposed to wrok out, it will. Otherwise, I'll just keep on keepin' on the way I have been.
For the first time in a LONG time I can honestly say I am in a good place in my life and there really isn't anything I would change, other than speeding up the year-long waiting period so I can go from "separated" to "divorced". But, other than that, I'm good.
Well, my 10 hour days are getting to me, so I am going to head for bed. I'll try and check in here more often.
